I think there is a reason God gave us eyes that couldn’t see ourselves naturally. In this way, we see others rather than ourselves. We are dependent on a mirror to help our selves at times but we are dependent on God to help us help others. If looking at ourselves were so important, our eyes would be on our hands I guess? Obviously, looking ‘inward’ into our life is necessary. But we look inward to see what we can change to help us look outward.
